Thank you to everyone that joined us for the 2021 Resolution Run! We set out to accomplish an in-person goal of 2,021 laps at the Atlanta Track Club office and 2,021 miles virtually. Despite a rain delay, we still managed to log 1,696 laps or 2,204 miles! With 419 participants, that is more than an average of five miles per person. Virtual participants not only met our goal but surpassed it with over 2,700 miles! We are thankful so many of you joined us and we are proud of the hard work Running City USA accomplished in just the first few days of the New Year. Cheers to 2021 and accomplishing more running and walking goals!

Good morning runners and walkers and happy 2021! We know we want to spend this year active and healthy and that’s why we’re today kicking off today with Resolution Run. Over 500 in-person participants are on the road to help us accomplish our goal of 2,021 laps around our office. Virtual participants will be going after 2,021 miles. Who's ready for the 2020 Powerade All-Metro High School Cross Country team reveal? The list is out! Atlanta Track Club named 42 runners to the list - 21 boys and 21 girls - including seven athletes who won individual state titles at last weekend's GHSA Cross Country State Championship Meet. Voting is open for the Most Outstanding Boy and Girl Athletes. After the year we had in 2020, we all want to start 2021 off on the right foot. Due to the likelihood of severe and potentially dangerous weather in Atlanta on New Year's Day, the virtual and in-person 2021 Resolution Run is being moved one day later to Saturday, January 2. All details such as location, parking and your scheduled start time will remain the same for Saturday. This year is coming to a close and Giving Tuesday with Atlanta Track Club is just around the corner. With gatherings limited in 2020, Atlanta Track Club's Kilometer Kids in-person program hit a roadblock. Our staff pivoted and revamped the entire program with a virtual version, so kids like Jude could participate right from their neighborhood with their parents. His mom, Jamie Campbell, said, "Thanks for this great program. Jude has gotten so much stronger. He has gained mil...es and confidence!" We believe offering free programming to the kids of Running City USA is a fundamental component of creating a healthier and more active Atlanta. We hope you're enjoying your Medal Monday after conquering the hills of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Thank you to Running City USA for showing up and showing out at the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler & 5K. Results are in! Congrats to our PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and 5k winners who conquered the hills at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. With a fast 56:54 finish, Isaac Dunkelberger takes 1st place in the 10 Miler. Kate Seitz finishes as top female with a 1:09:05. In the 5K, Jake Tubesing finished as the top male of the 2.54 mile course with a speedy 14:04! Olivia Tabron takes first female with an awesome 19:18.
