Hare Krishna In rmad-Bhgavatam (11.19.21) Ka says, mad-bhakta-pjbhyadhik: "It is better to render service to My devotee." ... Thus, according to the Gauya-Vaiava philosophy of Caitanya Mahprabhu, it is better to be a servant of the servant of God. One should not try to serve Ka directly. A pure Vaiava serves a servant of Ka and identifies himself as a servant of a servant of Ka. This is pleasing to Lord Ka. rla Narottama dsa hkura confirms this philosophy: chiy vaiava-sev nistra pyeche keb. Unless one serves A LIBERATED VAISNAVA, he cannot attain liberation by directly serving Ka. He must serve THE SERVANT OF KRSNA.
