Children's Museum of Atlanta 01.11.2020

Join us Thursday, November 12, 10:00 AM on Facebook Live! Let's talk about children, mental health and the holidays with Josee’ Muldrew, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and school-based therapist at Price Middle School, and Gabrielle Parker, LMSW and therapist at @CHRIS180Advocate. Josee' and Gabrielle will touch on children feeling loneliness and lack of peer support, creating structure at home, and developing new holiday traditions by looking for opportunities to... unplug and connect with family and friends. #CMATownSquare #mentalhealth #sociallearning #emotionallearning #wellbeing #holidays #webinar

This is fantastic! While this trend is true for all children it is especially true for little girls, more than half of whom today draw women when asked to draw a scientist compared to just 1% in the 1960s & 1970s. (You & your little one can get your science on with loads of hands-on STEM activities & experiments on our blog: https://childrensmuseumatlanta.org/blog/! Today we're doing smelly science!)

For today's TiNY Club, we’re going to experiment with some smelly science inspired by the delicious stew in "Thank you, Omu!". Just like Omu’s hungry neighbors, we’re going to use our noses to track down some delicious scents!
