Twitch Today we finally got a diagnosis on her condition, She has Cerebellar Hypoplasia Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum is smaller than usual or not completely developed. It has been reported in many animal species. In cats, this condition is also called "Wobbly Cat Syndrome." An animal with CH may be called ataxic or be described as a "bobble-head." ... She twitches allot, falls over, can’t control balance all the time. We are very familiar with cats with this condition as we had others prior. Of course we are glad this baby came to us as she can not be outdoors and she’s has higher risk at getting injured and bullied by other cats. Help us welcome Levi to rescue. He was found by a private citizen and contacted us regarding a handicapped squirrel. Levi is paralyzed in his hind legs. He will be going to Highland Animal Hospital on Monday to see if he is going to be ok.

We are asking for food donations. Yesterday morning one of our team members gained his wings. He was a huge part of our rescue not only was he the brother to our director he had so many plans,he even was working on a project for the rescue animals. His death was unexpected. He leaves behind 5 dogs and some cats. We want to be able to help with food as much as we can as their mom is caring for them as well as her own until we can place a couple. Parakeet update He’s doing amazing he’s eating and drinking, he now can stand on his own, he’s been flapping his wings. He still needs to stay on a heat pad but we know he loves it. Each day he’s getting stronger and better. Thank you all that showed so much support for a little parakeet.
