A few pictures from our 3D printing and Lapiplasty workshop this past weekend with Dr. Giovinco and Dr. Lu. It was truly a great learning experience and a look into the future!

A special thanks to Dr. Ross for hosting an internal brace/Fibular Nail workshop with our residents this past week. It was a great learning experience for all!

This week, our residents are enjoying the AAFAO conference in Dallas, TX. Multiple times a year, both the advanced and comprehensive courses are available for DPMs across the US. Residents and practicing physicians are able to train in the techniques of fixation, trauma, and reconstructive surgery in the foot and ankle!

This past weekend a Rearfoot Cadaver Workshop was hosted at The Podiatry Institute. 16 people attended from all over the world, including multiple residents from various programs. Each month the Podiatry Institute hosts a cadaver workshop geared towards Rearfoot or Forefoot procedures. These are held Thursday-Sunday and each participant gets 2 limbs. This past weekend, the residents and participants were able to learn from multiple PI members including Dr. Burchill (NV) and Dr. Colarco (NV). The residents were able to practice using different types of fixation including their ex-fix. Thanks to everyone for a great weekend!

Residents enjoyed volunteering as part of the medical team at this year's Peachtree Road Race 10k. Special thank you to Dr. Peebles and Dr. Julien for integrating us as part of the medical team again this year!

A few pictures from our Atlanta Women’s Meeting this past month. A big thank you to all the amazing women who lectured over the weekend! Our residents and faculty also had the pleasure of lecturing at Little Rock, Arkansas as well!

A big thank you to Dr. Rodriquez, Dr. Ross, and Dr. Ortiz for coming to Emory Decatur to host a muscle flap and Ex Fix lab for the residents! Our residents and faculty also had the pleasure of lecturing at the GPMA this year. Some of the lectures included Brachymetatarsia, Peroneus Brevis Muscle Flaps, and Nerve Transfers.
