Just some adorable to jumpstart your Tuesday morning! Julie’s babies are now 10 days old and little fat sausages. They try to nurse the quilt when Mom goes out for a bit of fresh air. Enjoy the cuteness. We are not.... accepting applications on these sweeties until we list on our website. They are not available for adoption until they are 8 weeks old.

We know everyone is getting in the planting mode but ......before you start adding plants to your house and yard.... do your research to what plants are toxic to your fur babies. All parts of the Sago Palm are deadly to your pet.... especially the seeds. Liver failure can be seen 2-3 days of post ingestion. Easter Lily’s .... leaves and even the pollen can cause kidney damage and result in death of your kitty in a short period of time. Please check out the list of 17 pl...ants that can harm your fur babies! See the list in the comments please.

Sometimes it really sucks having to make grownup decisions. Especially when it’s at 2am in the morning. We had to let Shy Baby go as he was in a steady decline. The vets had done everything possible but they couldn’t stop everything exiting his little body. We had 24 hour care for him since Tuesday..... but ... whatever he had going on proved that it wasn’t letting go of his little body. Thanks to everyone at Town and County Animal Hospital and to Middle Georgia Emergency Vet...erinary Center for all their help. A special thanks to Pet Plantation for taking care of our babies when they pass. We are still asking for donations. This was a huge hit finically .....but we had to give him a chance. He stole everyone’s heart and we were hoping for a much better outcome. We also have 7 heartworm positive dogs that are coming up for treatment in a few days and that’s going to be very costly also. Thanks to all that have donated and those that will donate on this huge vet bill. Y’all are the reason we can continue to do the job our heart leads us to do. If you are not comfortable donating thru PayPal... then you can send donations directly to Town and County Animal Hospital to be applied to our account. Thank y’all from the bottom of our hearts! This picture was taken yesterday on the way to ER vet for the night. We told him we wanted him to feel better:( See more

New update! He’s still very critical. Shy Baby had an X-ray and many types of medication thru his IV today. Some of his levels dropped and still were dropping earlier. They are syringe feeding him and most everything that went in.. exited. They are trying to stop that from happening. He’s going back to the ER for the night in a few. He deserves a chance to make it and is still wanting to hang with us. Thank you for those that have donated so far. This is going to be a humd...inger of a vet bill .... but he had stolen the hearts of all the volunteers and vet staff at both offices. Please keep our little man in your prayers. Update... we are transferring him to the ER Clinic to have eyes on him all night. Y’all be keeping our precious Shy Baby in your prayers. He is pretty sick and had to be hospitalized today. He hasn’t been the best eater since we received him and his family as owner surrenders. We had him checked out last week because we couldn’t get his stomach to calm down no matter what medications or food we gave him. The vets office couldn’t find anything wrong. He was treated with some medication but he just steadily continue to get worse. It was discovered he has coccidia which is hard to catch on a fecal sample sometimes. This nasty Protozoa can elude being detected even after multiple samples. He had a lot of bloodwork done this afternoon and is getting IV solutions with glucose and lots of other medicines to calm his stomach down. We know his tummy must hurting pretty bad because he wasn’t able to hardly eat. He is a little dude and can’t afford to loose much more weight. We told the vet that we got in 10 family members...... and we really wish to see 10 family members adopted. His mom and dad and quite a number of siblings have either been adopted or are pending. We need for him to get well so he can get his new family too!! If y’all would like to donate to his hospital bill ....that would be awesome. As you know.... vetting for the fur babies isn’t cheap. We are hoping the medications kick in quick and he is on the road to recovery very soon. Thank you for caring and donations!

Girlfriend should be super excited because she got the most wonderful family to spoil her absolutely rotten! This large group of Dachshund mixes are getting rave reports about how well they are settling into their new homes. That’s the kind of news we like to hear! Girlfriend cuddled into their laps and right into their hearts on Saturday. Happy life sweetheart!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! We are really running on FUMES right now, and in search of some volunteers, even if you can only come in once in awhile; being a once a week volunteer would be SO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! Each shift is 9-11 mornings, and 6-8 in the evenings, 7 days a week. When we have enough volunteers, the time is somewhat shorter on each shift. These beautiful babies faces, kisses and snuggles are MORE THAN ENOUGH to look forward to coming. PS We got a new pooper scooper, so I don’t know who the lucky person will be to use it first-May have to draw straws!
