I’m proud to share one embroiderer’s work and gold leaf from the UK taught in 2019. It was before the Pandemic and we were so blessed to be able to collaborate side by side with wonderful people and facilities. I truly miss the travel!

This is a sneak peek of a theme, "Three pillars of Nuido" for the upcoming online teachers' class in October. Gold leaf is done for Heart like the wind The wind carries things from afar. When a gust of wind blows through a valley filled with stagnant air, Fresh air flows in and the atmosphere completely changes. Learning from predecessors part II. The foundation layer behind the sodegaki fence is stitched with boroyori which gives unique texture different from the regular twist.
