Dear 1214th FSC Soldiers and Family Members, The strength of our GA Army National Guard Soldiers lies in the strength of our Families. As a leader, I want to ensure my Soldiers and our Families are taken care of and integrated into all we do. I am reaching out to you to invite you to consider getting involved in the new 1214th Forward Support Company’s (FSC) Family Readiness Group (FRG). The 1214th FSC is located in Washington, GA (40 minutes from Augusta, GA). Having a fu...nctional FRG at the 1214th FSC will be a key asset to my command in ensuring participation, flow of information, and high morale amongst the Soldiers and Families. I believe your input will greatly enhance the care and readiness of my Soldiers and our Families. As an FRG Leader or member of the FRG, you will help with things like the development/maintenance of phone trees, distribution of Unit Family information and emails that are relevant to benefits and other information for Families, and fundraising for and coordination of Family Events. An example of an upcoming Family Event for which we need FRG input is a welcome back celebration when we return to the Unit from Annual Training in APR17. I pledge to support our FRG with the best possible information and assistance to make it successful. I will also coordinate with my State Family Program to provide training, resources, and information valuable to our Soldiers and Families.
