200 Mill

Hello to all of you our loyal customers and supporters of 200 Mill. We hope that your Summer has been just wonderful! It is bittersweet to write this newsletter. Since August of 2014 we have been received with open arms from our community here at 200 Mill on the Marietta Square. We have loved meeting and forming relationships with all of our wonderful customers over the last 2 years and each month just got better and better! Our little pop-up shop on the square has been s...uch a fun experiment and such a rewarding experience for us each and every month. We have learned a lot about what you as customers want and also about the types of products and services that we want to offer to you! When we sat down to look at the 2 years ahead we realized that what we desire to do with 200 Mill in the future just cannot be achieved in our tiny shop. The actual space and the location has proven to be a challenge month after month due to markets blocking the front of our shop each weekend, limited parking and no plumbing or handicap accessibility, no rear exit or stockroom for deliveries and the tight studio space we have left to work in. Our lease is coming up and we have decided not to renew in the current location. Before you get sad please know that this is NOT the end for us. We are regrouping to re-open a full time shop and creative studio in the future to better serve both our needs and our customers desires to be able to shop more than once a month. We will be providing updates as we search for retail space and studio space in the coming months. When we started this whole endeavor it was 3 creative women working alone who wanted to collaborate and bring creative community together, and that is exactly what we have done here at 200 Mill on the square. We have loved every second and look forward to what the future holds! On a very happy note for you we have a good bit of inventory that we need to move quickly so we are going to have one last little get together THIS Thursday July 14th from 5-8, and we will be selling all of our remaining inventory at 40% off!! That applies to everything we have in the shop. Come early to get the best selection, we can toast with a glass of champagne to successful futures and hug your necks!! Bring a friend too!! From the bottom of out hearts we have loved all 22 of the pop-up events that we have hosted, featuring over 130 artists and makers from across the country!!
