Johnmark Norris, 402nd Software Engineering Group electronics engineer, monitors the aircraft status during a simulated mission in the Warner Robins Air Logisti...cs Complex C-5 System Integration Lab at Robins. The 402nd Software Engineering Group serves as the single organic source of mission critical computer resources and automatic test equipment software for all assigned prime systems and equipment and for all echelons of maintenance requiring computer programming skills and assembly level computer programming languages. SWEG is actively recruiting to fill positions within our organization. We will be participating in virtual career fairs (listed below) at a variety of different colleges. Congratulations to: Ms. Jessica Gaskins, Mr. Michael Henning, Ms. Tina Ngo, Mr. Robert Frisch, Mr. Daniel Nguyen, Mr. Michael Rodgers, Mr. Jonathan Self, and Ms. Sarah Talmage for being coined by the NCIS. In October 2019, working with the 581st SWES BARs team, NCIS smoothly converted to BARs, and in just the first fiscal year executed 2,619 orders for over 25,000 law enforcement products valued in excess of $2M, and stood-down all other similar efforts across the command, realizing additional cost avoidance benefits.

Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III arrived at the Pentagon today and hit the ground running, greeting the senior staff and then immediately heading into meetings on combating the coronavirus. Defense Secretary Austin is from Thomasville, Georgia.

Kirk Kukshtel has an amazingly talented daughter who made these COOKIES, yes this is a cookie! Tastes even better than it looks!

2020 Halloween Costume Pictures

Just a friendly reminder to practice proper customs and courtesies during Retreat. The installation commander has designated 5 p.m. as the end of the duty day a...t Robins Air Force Base. At the first sound of Retreat, all personnel outdoors should stop and face the flag, or when not visible, in the direction the music is played. When the national anthem is played the proper etiquette is as follows: - Vehicles in motion should safely stop and turn down their music or other audio. - Service members in uniform who are outside should stand at attention and salute. - Service members out of uniform who are outside should stand at attention and place their right hand over their heart or may also render a salute. - Civilians who are outside should place their right hand over their heart. - Service members performing physical training and wearing a PT uniform outdoors should stop, stand at attention and render salute.
