Story time: A few years ago I was out scouting and junking looking for whatever crossed my path. I ran across this old two-tiered plant stand. There was a visible crack on the second lower tier, so I flipped it over to asses, and to my surprise the break had been repaired with the lid of a tin can. They’d held the break together and nailed half of the lid to one side, and half to the other holding the break together. . . That idea, two objects that could have been tossed (bot...h the broken table and tin can lid) were instead saved to continue a new life, had a profound impact on how we shape our business. . Handmade. Upcycled. Reclaimed. Recycle. Use the scraps, imagine something new, work with your hands. . . Sometimes the old ways are the best ways. Create quality products that will last for generations, using scraps to create new items... we dig it. . . A few items we’ve been creating using those thoughts: . . . We can now share a top secret: We know what Santa’s Workshop smells like!! Just as you might imagine, it’s full of gingerbread, sweet cut wood, and a touch of elf magic. (This might be our favorite candle we’ve ever created). . . Snow Days are full of family fun with bright, crisp scents. When you first smell Snow Day, it’s apple, but you quickly smell fresh peppermint, a touch of fir and cinnamon and crisp air. .... . Next are two returning Winter favorites: Christmas Tree Farm, our nod to a favorite tradition of cutting our own Christmas Tree full of sparkling fir and bayberry. . . Sleigh Bells, dreaming of a sleigh ride filled with hot cocoa and sweet peppermint. . . Christmas has arrived at our Downtown shop and we couldn’t be more excited to bring some holiday cheer to you. We turned on Christmas music and decorated the store for two days... and it felt wonderful. A bright spot in what’s been a very strange year. . .
