8 Mile Creek Farm

After the long awaited birth of Beauty’s kids I can finally get some sleep in my bed. She had a huge 9.14 lb buckling and a 8lb doeling. A small 4.6 doeling was DOA. Buckling was a hard delivery but everybody is doing fine now.

After a long night of pacing and talking and pawing AnnieJane finally had two kids early this morning. A 8.4lb black buckling and a 7.10lb brown doeling. Now if Beauty will just hope on the baby train I can finally get back to my warm soft bed and off the couch.

Still waiting on these two girls to release their hostages. Due dates have done come and gone and still no kids. Hopefully soon!!!

Got the kids moved from the kid house to the horse barn yesterday. They have a big stall for bedding but still have access to the kid outside area thanks to a door we cut into the back wall. We had plenty of help from the kids while trying to put in the door. We had goats underneath us on our backs and even a few trying to get on our heads but we got it done. Think they liked the finished outcome.

UPDATE: January 20 ALL KIDS ARE SOLD! So far we have 13 kids on the ground. I still have 2 more to kid this month and the last one on March 6th. I have several people wanting kids so I will not be posting available or sold until they make their decisions. After that point I will post what's available.
