Dear friends, This 4th of July has been tough for my family. I am posting this asking for help on behalf of my family. My grandmother, whom is very dear to us,... has been diagnosed with COVID-19. She is currently at Baptist Hospital literally fighting for her life. We have been told that if she has any chance of making it out of this ordeal, she will need a plasma donor whom has already had the virus. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of plasma donors (which is unfathomable, since so many people have had this virus at this point.) We are specifically searching for blood type A- Positive. PLEASE - If you are reading this, reach out to anyone you know who may qualify to help my grandmother. Share this to your page and make it public so that your friends can share. If you’ve had the virus, regardless of your blood type, GO DONATE your plasma! You could literally save a life. This is a complete nightmare. We have been hearing stories of people contracting this deadly virus. These people are alone, scared and, in her case, barely know what’s going on. They deteriorate so quickly. It’s literally touch and go from minute to minute. We never think it’s our family that this will happen to. Well, it’s happening to mine and it’s heartbreaking to think that she may not make it and we will never get the chance to hug her again. We are helpless and praying for a miracle.
