This is the long antibody that formed 2 weeks after the Moderna vaccine. No antibodies at week 1. We are tracking some of the post vaccinated patients.

****COVID-19 UPDATE**** We now have a return of full supplies of the Rapid COVID-19 Swab. We still can only perform so many tests in a day due to the amount of machines and time for each test, but we are back to full capabilities. We should have the ability to have patients register online and select an appointment in the near future.

It is a sad day in Columbus Georgia. Mayor (Ret), US Army Colonel (Ret), local lawyer and politician Bob Poydasheff has died. His legacy is still loud and clear today for the things he has done for this community and ensuring that the community and Ft. Benning always had a fantastic relationship. He was commissioned in the US Army as an Infantry second lieutenant after graduating from The Citadel. He later went to Tulane for law school and was then reassigned to the Judge Ad...vocate General’s Corp. He served proudly for 24-years then after retiring, he served on the Columbus city council and then became Mayor. He continued to serve as a political activist and a local lawyer and continued his mission to make Columbus a great place to live. Mr. Poydasheff, you will be missed! Rest In Peace! https://www.wrbl.com//former-columbus-mayor-bob-poyda/amp/

When patients do things like this or when they buy us lunches it makes everything worth it!! Thank you so much to the Handy family for the fruit basket, the Sanders family for the flowers, and Colonel Ward for the lunch on him that will get us 2 days of lunches for the staff!! We can’t begin to thank our community enough for doing things like this!

I wanted to make sure everyone knew that we have plenty of Rapid tests so we can contribute to test our community and bring results in a timely manner.

I want to apologize for not being able to reply to every single request for an appointment on FB. With only Mercy Med and ACE performing rapid Antigen tests, the response has been overwhelming. We are trying to accommodate as many people as possible. The FB requests have exceeded our capabilities and therefore I will need to reduce the request to elderly, physically disabled people in wheelchairs, pre-operative patients, and those in Chemo programs. I promise you we are trying to accommodate everyone and we just can't keep up with the demand. We now have a machine that is down which will limit our capabilities. Please save these requests for those in the categories above. We will continue to have 30 daily packets in the morning when we open at 8am. Thanks and I apologize we can't handle more.

ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO RAPID TESTING UNTIL MONDAY 20 JULY 2020. WE HAVE TO SERVICE OUR MACHINES AND RESET SO WE CAN BE MORE EFFICIENT AND ENSURE THE BEST PROCESS IS USED TO TEST PEOPLE AND RESULTS GIVEN THE SAME DAY. ANYONE WHO HAS A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WE CAN STILL SWAB BUT WE WILL HAVE TO SEND THE SWAB OUT FOR TESTING. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY APPOINTMENTS OR WALKING UNTIL MONDAY 20 JULY. AGAIN, WE ARE STILL OPEN AND CAN SEE PATIENTS WHO ARE SICK BUT WE WILL BE UNABLE TO GIVE RAPID RESULTS UNTIL MONDAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND SUPPORT AS WE DO OUR BEST TO DELIVER TO YOUR EXPECTATION.

Acute Care Emergence 23.08.2020

ATTENTION!!! We do have the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test that results within minutes but we have been trying to test everyone who comes and we just can't keep up with the numbers. We ask that those who truly need the swab because they are SICK, ask to be seen so we can properly test and treat you. Those that want to return to work, we are trying to accommodate you because we know you need income. Those that have no symptoms and just want to know, we ask that you are patient... with us because we have plenty of tests but not enough appointments to test everyone. PRIORITY IS: 1. Sick patients 2. Uniformed Officers (you will always be tested immediately by someone) 3. Those who have mild symptoms but have health issues. 4. Those who have to have a negative test to return to work. 5. Those who had a positive contact but display no symptoms. WE WILL ALWAYS TRY TO FIND WAYS TO BE BETTER but please be patient with us. We ALWAYS CALL positive cases first and then negatives next. We are trying to figure out ways to keep up with contacting everyone and will soon be able to take appointments online. Again, please be patient while we grow and try to help as many as we can. Thank you!

We now have the capability to do rapid swabs within 20 minutes. It’s important to remember that while we have the ability to run this test, we only have the ability to run 4 tests every 20 minutes and that makes us have to cap how many people we can test this way. We continue to have the Antibody finger stick and the swab we send out and results in 72 hrs. We truly are trying to accommodate as many people as we can so be patient with us as we try to do our best. We won’t be able to test every person who comes, everyday but we will certainly try. Please feel free to call or email if you have questions. Stay Safe and Mask Up!!

We would like to thank Ms. Dana Johnson for the beautiful flowers at ACE. We have had such an incredible outpouring of support while we have jumped in head first to testing our community for COVID-19. We continue to see people 7-days a week. We feel it is important for everyone to know where we are as a town to make us safer. We continue to be here for everyone.
