Adam's honey

All the honey is extracted for the year. Will start bottling this week.

Ok everyone it's about that time when honeybees are swarming. Swarming is how honeybees reproduce a new colony . The queen and a large percentage of worker bees leave their hive and seek a new place to live. When there is a large cluster of bees like in the pictures there are other bees actively looking for somewhere to establish. If you see a honeybee swarm please call me asap. Raw honey will granulate (get sugar like crystals in it and become slightly cloudy) over time. This does not mean the honey has gone bad. Honey does not spoil. To re-liquefy all you need to do is heat the container in a pot of warm water to decrystallize it. Excessive heat can cause the flavors and enzymes to degrade so heating over 110 degrees is not recommended.
