JOB OPPORTUNITY: City of Adrian is now hiring for a position in the Maintenance Department. Full time (40hrs per week) position starting at $10/hr. Requirements: Able to operate several types of equipment, proof of high school diploma or equivalent, and previous experience. It's that time again! We are also accepting applications for sponsors. The sponsorship is $60 and that includes one event t-shirt, the size of your choice and... the name of the sponsor being put on the back of the event t-shirts. Individuals and businesses can sponsor. Sponsor applications are due back no later than Friday October 15th. Please come out and help support your local law enforcement and have a good time while you're at it. There was a misprint on the water bills. Due date is the same as usual. Bills are due by the 10th. Late fees are added after the 10th. Bills must be paid in full before the 21st.

PSA: there will be an overwhelming amount of traffic coming through the center of Adrian for quite a while due to the damages that shut down I16. Please be caut...ious driving through during this time. Please be courteous of other people traveling through, if someone is at the traffic light directing traffic please adhere to their directions. We know this is inconvenient for everyone involved, however we have to work together to get through this trying time. There will be fresh produce available at the bp Wednesday at 1pm! They will have butterbeans, zippers, purple hull, and white peas. Rain or Shine.

Elsa is getting close to landfall, with the projected path we will feel the affects. Please remember to have enough water for everyone in your family for at lea...st 3 days ( 1 gallon per person per day is recommended), get dry non perishable food items such as canned vegetables and meat. Fill your vehicles up with fuel, have some emergency candles,and always a first aid kit. Please be sure to secure anything that may be affected by winds such as lawn furniture and garden tools. We will be working non stop to try and make sure everyone stays safe. Please don't hesitate to call 911 if you require assistance. The Adrian Police Department will be hosting an event today giving away toys for kids in the area. Please bring your child with you and they will be able to pick out some toys from a selection at the Adrian Community Center on Nora Blvd. The event will be from 4pm-6pm.

Trash pickup will be on Saturday, December 26th and Saturday, January 2nd due to the holidays.

Two scooters were turned in at City Hall. If they belong to you please give a description of them and you can come pick them up.

The coat drive from last winter is still going on! You can donate coats at City Hall or drop them off at the building next to City Hall. The pick up & drop off building has a flyer on the door.
