A special happy birthday to one of my favorite clients Frances Heaton who turned 90! Frances loves chocolate so we found a 5lb Hershey's bar for her to enjoy!

Very tragic loss for Savannah and everyone that knew Robert. Robert has touched so many lives in a positive way and will be sorely missed.

You need a great story about this event? Check this out! From Kristen Maas I have been meaning to write for several weeks. I apologize that it has taken so long.... I am so grateful that you worked so hard to make this race happen on Skidaway. My parents have lived full time at The Landings for almost ten years. My husband and I bring our girls twice a year to spend time in beautiful Savannah. When my mom heard about this race from Todd Norris, she was so excited to tell me about it. I have been a runner for a long time getting into longer distances within the last six years. After running my first marathon in 2012, I had a significant problem with my foot. I did not run for a year. After many hours spent in physical therapy and many hours with my chiropractor, I was excited to be running again. The longest I had gone before hearing about the race was 8 miles. I was thrilled to be pain free and having a plan to run a half marathon. I worked hard in training recognizing that finishing it would be huge for me. The week of the race, I hurt my hip. It has been a recurring injury. Todd Norris was able to relieve the pain on Tuesday. I was so grateful to be able to run on Saturday pain free. I was so thankful for your many volunteers who made the race course easy to follow. I was overwhelmed with gratitude that my parents could see me five times along the race course (they had never seen me race before). My husband and girls watched me twice before going to an egg hunt. During my 13th mile, Mandisa's song "Overcomer" was playing on my iPod. I believe that about myself because God equipped me to run long again. When I crossed the finish line, I gave my dad a high five with tears of joy. He had tears too. I am forty-five and so grateful to be able to be running long. It has been quite a journey and I am grateful for each and every painful step along the way. I am grateful to God for healing my foot and my hip. Thank you again. I would love to run this race again next year if I am able. Kristen Maas

First things first, we wanted to thank everyone for their heartfelt words; we know how big of an impact Robert has made in our lives, but it is/was still overwh...elming to see the outpouring of support we received via Facebook, email and text. Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU! Secondly, the doors to the store will be open today, but not the registers; today we will be here to celebrate Robert's life and to be with friends and family, not to sell things. Please stop by early and often, and once again, thanks for your continued support. See more
