Tax season is around the corner so I wanted to remind everyone of some things to bring in before you come in: *You can come in as early as January 2nd with your... last check stub (this is for the loan approval) *Bring in your ID even if you think I already have a copy of it. I need a copy every year. *This year I need everyone's social security card (even if you think I already have it - bring in the new one) *I will need your W2 to file (even if I already have your last check stub, I still need your W2) *Birth Certificates if your child's last name does not match yours *Proof of your self employment like receipts, any records that you kept, or signed statements from your customers *If you are claiming a niece or nephew, I need proof that you are eligible to claim that child (normal questions from the IRS are: Why are claiming the child and not the child's parent - then you'd show proof that that child lives with you and that's why the other parent doesn't claim the child. (I think I answered all questions that may arise. Exciting news for TAX SEASON: Bring your last check stub into my office on January 2nd and apply for a loan of UP TO $6,000! (The majority of my customers that file with me loyally every year will have no problem being approved for the maximum loan amount. New customers can apply for this loan too.) - As of right now, once you apply I think the loan is gonna be 24 hour approval so it may come out on the 3rd. (Or the day after you apply) But, also you can choose the amount of ...the loan that you want this year. (Last year the bank chose for you and no one liked that including me) So if you don't want the maximum loan, you don't have to accept the maximum loan. In order to finalize filing your return, you'll, of course, need to bring your W2 back so that the IRS will complete the processing of your return. As of right now, the only Christmas loans that I will have available are the $100 loans around December 14th. (This may change but may stay the same) Always keep in mind that if you get a Christmas loan from another place, you can STILL FILE WITH ME, you just need to make sure to go pay that loan company back to keep yourself in good standings. **Don't forget that we have an office in Millen and in Twin City, so whichever office is more convenient for you to get to then please go to either one. (I'm up in the air as to my new location of Metter or Louisville - opinions are appreciated) I haven't seen any dates from the IRS yet as to when the first set of checks will come out but should stay about the same as last year - coming out around the first week of February but my checks, as with every year, should come out first. LOL (believe it or not, I have plenty of people that do that and it doesn't bother me one bit.) I'm not sure if I'm giving referrals this year, it's just too hard to keep up with on top of everything else that I have to do. If you only refer business to a tax "professional" because of the referral money then are you really helping your friend find the best tax professional? So far.... this year I will be offering loans of up to $6000 AND I can offer smaller loans as early as January 2nd. More information to come. It’s very early in the season but I’m so happy that I couldn’t hold it in!! Please share and spread the word! I’m still waiting to hear about December loans.

The first set of refunds will be released mid to late February. For this reason, I am giving loans in different amounts. ($500, $1000, $1500 or $2500 whichever you choose) Once you file your taxes you will (upon request) be applied for the loan. YOU DON’T NEED TO BRING ANY MONEY BACK TO MY OFFICE FOR THE LOAN. You can file your return as early as the first week of January as long as all of your paperwork is in order. If you are self employed: you need to have all of your reco...rds together. You need to have proof of your income such as receipts, 1099s, statements written from your employers, bank statements, etc. The IRS' new thing this year is, if your dependents don't have your same last name then you need to show how that dependent is related to you by showing birth certificates. (THIS WILL ALSO HELP GET YOU APPROVED FOR THE LOAN FASTER) We have an office in Millen this year. I am offering a $20 per person referral for all new customers. This applies to Twin City and Millen offices.
