Today is the last day to submit applications for the AFAS Spouse Education Scholarship. We have been awarded the funds to offer 10 scholarships to spouses of active duty Fort Gordon Airmen. Five spouses will be selected to receive the scholarship for the Dental Assistant program and five spouses will be selected to receive the scholarship for the Medical Administrative Assistant program. The funds are guaranteed and provided by the Air Force Aid Society. We have to compete an...nually to participate in the program and our proposals are evaluated against every A&FRC across the Air Force. Last year, we were the first GSU to ever participate in the program, and this year we were awarded twice the funding. We hope you take advantage of this wonderful program. Airman & Family Readiness is excited to announce that we have been selected to participate in the 2021 Air Force Aid Society Spouse Employment Program.
