We designed the HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing systems for this renovation, modification and addition to the previous Southside Middle School, originally built in 1962 for the Dougherty County school System in Albany, GA. LRA Constructors created the below video of the project.

AH&P is excited to announce that the Borehole Thermal Energy Storage (BTES) system we engineered for DoD under their ESTCP program https://www.serdp-estcp.org//E/EW-201135/(language)/eng-US is doing very well during its first 5 months of operation. Unaudited energy measurements for the first 5 months of operation ending January 1st, 2016 show the buildings Geothermal Heat Pump (GHP) based HVAC system is consuming 55% less energy per square foot than the original chillers and boilers that previously served the building. As impressive, the building’s cooling tower, which would normally consume 3-5 million gallons of drinking water per year has been eliminated!
