A sneak peak into a challenging project. It is a first for me in a long time to not be a part of the selection process of finishes, lighting, etc.. My clients bought this new construction on Lake Blue Ridge, Georgia as is. Basically, brown cabinets, brown floors, brown trimbrown everything! It was up to me to infuse warmth and life into it. First stop.ART! The two commissioned owls from @janeingolsart are so perfectly appointed on the foyer stairwell. They are hands down a glimpse of what is yet to come for many details of bringing this space to life!

A little peek at our Birmingham Condo Renovation.Adding a wall of antiqued mirrors in the Dining Room was a game changer as it was a small dark space.P.S.remember the scare of the 11’6 banquette almost not going up the stairs.she made it and it’s oh so good! #thankgoodness

Hi! My name is Alison Baker and I’ve noticed some new friends, so I thought I would re-introduce myself. I’ve been in this industry for over 25 years now. I was born and raised in Southern California and worked for high-end builders/design groups for a few years before my husband and I decided to make the move to the South in 1994. Soon thereafter, we opened the family retail store, Accentrics in Johns Creek, Georgia which originated in Southern California in 1979. My s...pecialty is working closely with clients and their architects and builders from the ground up truly nothing more exciting than this process of start to finish. I have been blessed with projects all over the U.S. and internationally as well. My goal is always to add a fresh approach to my client’s needs, and encompassing a juxtaposition of texture and color to create a well-rounded environment. What I love most of all, are the lifelong friendships created along the way.
