Well it is that time of year again....open enrollment!! I am back at it today. Even though we are dealing with a pandemic we still need to be prepared to service our existing accounts and open new accounts. With the overwhelming nature off Covid-19 there are a few things you need to be aware of as you visit with clients and companies: 1. Find out what are the rules of engagement by the client 2. Wear a mask 3. Bring your own hand sanitizer 4. Set your table up with your cust...omer chair to the far left or right of you. Never directly across from you. 5. No hand shaking. Fist pump if you must. They will understand. 6. Bring your own LS pens. Let the customer keep it when done with filling out their applications. 7. Keep as much distance as possible. 8. Be sensitive to the emotional state of mind of each potential client. 9. Remind everyone to get their Will and Healthcare Power of Attorney completed and sent in as soon as possible. 10. Today I give a big SHOUT OUT to all the essential grocery store workers that are working long hours, risking their health and that of their families, in order to make sure that the rest of us have the daily necessities to make it through this Covid-19 pandemic! It was exactly 20 years ago that I had just opened up my 2nd store as a Publix Super Market Store Manager. We had bought out some A&P grocery stores and converted them to our standards.
