The Most Rev. Dr. Foley Beach Made New Head of the Anglican Church in North America For Immediate Release LATROBE, PA (JUNE 28, 2014) - Today The Most Rev. Robert Duncan, first archbishop of the Anglican Church in North America, officially transferred the authority of the office to his successor, The Most Rev. Dr. Foley Beach.... Over 900 church members, ecumenical partners, and international dignitaries attended a four day conference called "Assembly 2014" that culminated in the 10am service at the Basilica of the St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. During the service, Archbishop Beach delivered the sermon, encouraging the Church to move boldly forward into the future, and asking for prayer as he begins this new season of ministry: "I count it a privilege and a sacred trust to have been elected as your next archbishop, and I ask your prayers for Allison and me as we begin this new adventure together in our obedience to Jesus Christ." "Our responsibility is to be faithful and diligent in preaching the Word; it is up to the Holy Spirit's timing for that Word to bear fruit. Some of us will preach the word with sermons. A Successful and Superb Third Annual Children’s & Youth Sunday at All Saints Atlanta All Saints Anglican Church Children’s and Youth Ministry led the Worship on Sunday, August 5, 2012. The Third Annual Children’s and Youth Sunday, which included - Worship, Praise, Singing, Prayers, Preaching, Drama and Dance were simply superb thanks to Ify Osadebe, Angela Ugbajah, Nkoli Asuzu and Chichi Ndubuisi, the Children’s and Youth ministry leaders. The theme of this year was on Lo...ve and Wisdom. Onyedikachi Okafor, our Youth organist led the worship and was simple fantastic. Nina Mbonu gave an insightful, inspiring and motivating teaching on Love. It was quite an inspiring biblical sermon. Rev. Ekeke, the Vicar, in his five minutes message reminded the young people four keys for success: 1. Every morning, to thank God for the gift of life and learn how to cherish it every day. 2. Every day, to thank God for the indescribable gift, skills, abilities, talents, anointing that God deposited in their life. 3. Every day, to cherish and protect the talents, abilities and gifts that God had deposited in them. 4. Every day, to pray for United States of America and be thankful that they live in the greatest nation and empire in human history. However, the highlight of the Third Annual event was the drama and dance at the Fellowship Hall. The Children brilliantly interpreted two biblical stories The Parable of the Good Samaritan, and "The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant. The dance was a Treat. The guests and visitors were simply entertained.
