Here is the e-mail I sent out on Wednesday! Since then I’ve been so encouraged by the support, love, and prayers from everyone I e heard from. While, yes, I’m mourning the loss, I’m so excited for the future and what God has in store! This is to communicate with everyone that we are needing to make some very drastic changes to the way that we run All About Ballroom.... I think it's pretty obvious to all of you that know me that I love dancing, helping people, and combining those passions by teaching dance. It is probably also easy to see that I trust my Lord and savior, and I adore my family. However, it is with a heavy heart that I share that just not enough people are coming into the studio to learn to dance. Those of you that are active at the studio could probably see the decline, but what you may not be aware of is how severe the situation has become. I know there are several reasons for this. Some of those reasons stem from our own personal decisions and some are completely beyond my control. Therefore, we have decided it is wise and prudent to close the physical location for All About Ballroom. We need to be out of the studio by the end of January so we will have 3 weeks of classes and personal lessons in the studio space. After that we will continue to teach by offering personal lessons, semi-private lessons, events, parties, choreography, weddings, and the like. If you have valid group classes remaining past February 1, 2020 we will be happy to work with you to give you a fair trade of classes for personal lessons or semi-private lessons, but I also encourage you to come in as much as you can over these last 3 weeks. I'll need to see as many friendly and smiling faces as I can to help me in this difficult transition! This decision may seem drastic or sudden, but I assure you that we have been praying for wisdom and have consulted with some trustworthy professionals for many months. As difficult as this decision is, I trust that God has a plan for us. (Jeremiah 29:11) I also give thanks in all circumstances to my Creator, (1Thessalonians 5:18, James 1:2) I truly pray this is not good-bye, but just a chance for us to begin again. I don't know what the future will be for All About Ballroom yet and ask for your prayers and understanding during this restart. Much Love, Kathy Waggoner
