Important Update: Changes in Veterinarian Staff Dear Clients, It is with loving hearts that we announce Dr. Karolyn Akins, Practice Owner and Veterinarian, is currently not seeing clients to protect her health with regards to Covid-19. Dr. Karolyn has put her heart and soul into building All Creatures Animal Hospital with Dr. Michael Akins, and together they have created the wonderful hospital we have today. She has always looked out for the most up-to-date information abo...ut the needs of different species and has gone above and beyond when helping injured wildlife. As the avian specialist since opening the practice in 1991, we know she has been treasured in the avian community. She is in good health and is happily making masks for the staff and others through these trying times. She expresses regularly how much she has missed you and your pets, and she wishes you all the best of health and happiness. It is with deep sadness that we announce Dr. Lynda Russell is resigning from All Creatures and moving out of state to be closer to family. She has been a respected and well-loved Associate Veterinarian here at All Creatures since coming on board in 2017. While here, our staff and clients have valued her love of every single pet she sees whether it be a basset hound or a beta fish. She has always strived to meet our mission to educate clients and be a crusader for the human-animal bond. Her last day with us will be October 14, 2020. Due to the departure of both our avian vets and only fish vet, we are requesting any clients with birds or fish to contact us as soon as possible so we may address any preventative wellness services or illness services your bird or fish may need prior to Dr. Lynda’s departure. We are seeking to hire a new Associate Veterinarian as soon as possible. Due to the shift in veterinarian staff, All Creatures may be temporarily changing our Dr. appointment hours. If so, we will be announcing that early October and we will post all changes to our website: www.allcreaturesanimalhospital.com. If you would like to send any well-wishes to either Dr. Lynda or Dr. Karolyn, you may email us at [email protected] or send a message through our website at https://www.allcreaturesanimalhospital.com/contactus.html. Respectfully, from Dr. Michael Akins
