Day by day updates....... The Federal tax filing deadline is moved from April 15 to July 15. All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties. Taxpayers who may have tax refunds are encouraged to file now to get their money. The IRS move will increase pressure on states to align their deadlines with the new one for federal income tax returns.
Tax returns are still due by April 15 but payments can be delayed up to 90 days for most tax payers. We are still going full speed preparing and filing tax returns at our office. Call us if we can be of any help. (770) 428-6229. Stay safe and healthy!
