Many of us (let’s be honest ) especially our children look forward to Halloween all year and while this year may look different there are still ways to celebrate and being careful- these are the tips offered by the American Academic of Pediatrics (AAP) to enjoy a healthy and safe one amid the COVID-19 Pandemic: 1) Avoid groups or clustering at doorsteps, consider sitting outdoors at a safe distance and wear cloth face coverings. 2) If handing out treats individually prepack... them before hand to avoid too much touching. 3) If your child collects treats, wipe the packages with sanitizing cloth before your child can access them. 4) Meet friends virtually and show off costumes. 5) Avoid indoor events such as haunted houses. And of course, good hand hygiene all the time!!
