Good morning parents and students: Thank you all so much for the incredible turnout to our six summer in person Joshua's Law classes. They were our most successful yet with all classes full to capacity. Thank you also for your continued support of Alpha Omega Driving Academy 's Behind the Wheel lessons. Carlos, Chuck and I enjoy seeing how the kids "lights" come on as they learn new techniques to maneuver through the countries 8th worse traffic. We have dates for our first ...two Zoom classes of the school year. We will be holding Joshua's Law 30 hour Zoom classes the weeks of August 23rd- September 3rd and October 18th-29th. All classes will be from 4-7PM. The final is given on the last day of each class. The cost for the class is only $50.00 dollars. This class will suffice the Joshua's Law classroom requirement for 15-17 year olds. This class is not considered an online class in case your insurance company does not give the teen driver discount for the online course but will for in person classes. Carolyn will send out invites for the class the weekend prior to the classes. If you are interested in your child attending either of the classes, please contact us through this FB page and Carolyn's email address ([email protected]). Carolyn is leaving on a trip beginning today July 29 through Sunday night Aug 1. She may not answer FB or emails until next week. I want to also thank our schools who hosted this summers Joshua's Law classes for their continued support and hospitality to Alpha Omega Driving Academy, our students and parents. For those who may have heard the rumors, this is the story behind Alpha Omega Driving Academy. I wrote this three years ago so our parents and students would know of the pain behind our company and also to honor Nicolas, Lauren and my incredible wife, their mom. We will be having a Zoom class Feb 22 - March 5 from 4:00-7:00. This will be the 30 hour class that will suffice for Joshua's Law. If you are interested please email me at [email protected]. If I have ignored your messages, text etc I am extremely sorry and trying to catch up. My cellphone died, I mean dead. Lost all contacts, texts ,apps, emails, you name it and it is gone. I have a new iPhone and I have been trying to rebuild. I am spending today confirming driving and getting paperwork and invites for the Zoom class. Carolyn

We will be having class September 8-18 from 4:00-7:15 thru Zoom. This will be the thirty hour class that will suffice for Joshua's Law. The schedule is similar to students coming to the school for 3 hours for 2 weeks. Since we will not have class on Monday the 7th we added 15 minutes to make up time. We are starting at 4:00 because Hall County schools are going till 3:35. Watch your speed, y'all have been warned

I had a parent asked me if I had found a pair of glasses in the driver's ed car. When I first looked I did not see them but they got jammed under the seat so now I have a pair of glasses. They looks like they are bifocals.

I found out thru a parent that DDS is now locking their gates when closed so y'all can't go after hours and practice. People were moving the cones and not putting them back where they belonged.

Alpha Omega does not have a fall schedule for classes yet. The schools are waiting to see how August is going proceed. If we can be back in the buildings then hopefully we will start having classes in September after the Labor Day holiday. If schools are not allowing after school meetings we will move to Zoom classes. They will taught like past after school classes. They will be three hours after school for two weeks, Monday thru Friday then Monday thru Friday. As soon as I know anything about classes I will be sure to keep y'all posted.
