TELEMEDICINE IS COMING TO ALPHARETTA PEDIATRICS We are working to build a formal Telemedicine platform that will remain in place even after this crisis has pas...sed. This service will enhance our ability to serve you as we move forward with a new vision of what we can do to protect ourselves. 1) Currently, we can only do a virtual visit through FACETIME. If you do not have an iPhone or iPad, please let us know so we can make other arrangements with you. We can still accommodate you and your family. 2) Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, we will be doing all virtual visits through a Telemedicine platform within our practice management system AdvancedMD. You will connect to these visits through a link you receive in your email. You will need to supply us with the email you wish us to use for this communication. 3) Per current billing guidelines, each visit is still submitted to your insurance with the appropriate modifier code listing the location of the visit. Each visit is still subject to all applicable copays, co-insurance or deductible responsibilities. During this time of social distancing for the COVID-19 crisis, all sick visits will be handled in this manner. Once this crisis has passed and we have resumed a normal routine, this service will still be offered to meet your particular needs.
