We have many things happening at the American Legion so y'all listen up! First and for most, we have both new members and old members that have come back to us, please make them all welcome! Second, the Ladies Auxiliary are in the process of starting back up, please do what you can to help promote and help them in any way you can. For further information please call Glenn or Jerald and they can put you with whomever you need to talk to. Third, The Legion Riders have a bike... wash planned for September 16th, starting at 2:00 p.m. and going until when ever. Along with the bike wash Jerald will be cooking a hog and that means the very best bbq that you've put in your mouth! We will also be having a band play so please mark it on your calendar so you won't miss the party! Fourth, we will still be having keroke every Friday and Saturday night beginning at 8:00 p.m. unless there's other events going on. This is fun and we need your support on this, so come on out and strut your stuff and as a big bonus to you all, I will not be singing! Fifth, there will be an open mike night every 3rd Saturday of the month, so tune up the gitfidel and bring it down for some fun jamming Sixth, we have selected the 3rd Sunday of each month as a work day. The same members have been doing it or it not getting done and it's time others pitch in to help. Even if for health reasons you can do labor, come down and show your support. We will meet there from 2:00 until 4:p.m. and we can really use some help We are also having a basket raffle as we have had before (wink wink) and we are also selling beautiful T-Shirts. The raffle is to raise funds for the legion and all money for the T-SHIRTS go to Wreaths Across America so please check it out. They are $15.00 a peace and also have a pocket on them. We do have larger sizes and yes, I've already got mine! Lastly Member dues are due so please see one of the officers to take care of that. Thank you all for your help and your service and I mean that from the bottom of my heart Jerry See more
