A federal district court has ruled in favor of tax preparers who filed a class-action lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service over its right to charge fees... for Preparer Tax Identification Numbers, and the IRS may need to refund hundreds of millions of dollars in fees collected each year. Reminder for all partnerships.... Form 1065 partnership tax returns are due March 15th this year. Previously partnership returns were not due until April 15th.

1099's and W-2's are due by Monday, Feb 2, 2015. If you purchased health insurance through an exchange, you will receive a Form 1095-A on or before Feb. 2, 2015.

For 2015, standard business mileage rate rises to 57.5 cents per mile for business driving, up 1.5 cents from 2014 rates.
