Today’s closing was an unusual one, though no less satisfying for the buyers and the seller! The buyers already lived in the house they wanted to buy. The seller was the buyer’s mom. They knew what they wanted to accomplish, and just needed help navigating the transaction given the circumstance. Big thanks to Lou Sarris and his team at Northpoint Mortgage for figuring out solutions to the snags that tried to unravel the plan. And to both the buyers and the seller for patience and perseverance to make it to closing. Truly a testament to working together to reach the goal.

Always makes my day to receive a lovely review - this one came from one of my 2020 seller clients, who were also referred to me by one of my 2019 seller clients (a great testimonial in itself!) The world can keep its craziness in the background - my focus will stay on serving my clients (and rescuing animals) because that's where I can actually make a difference and help!

Just closed on the darling Buckhead bungalow on this cold rainy morning! (And where is everyone? That was the smoothest trip through Atlanta I’ve had in 20+ years!) The sellers lived in this home for 31 years, raised their kids, and left behind a clean slate and great vibes for the buyers, who will be doing a pretty extensive renovation before they move in with their new puppy. Turns out, they are renting just a street over and already know and love the neighborhood, and can oversee the renovations just walking the dog! I love watching folks hand over a beloved home to the next generation to love and care for it and make new memories! A Happy New Year for them all, indeed!

To my Georgia peeps - y’all batten down the hatches tonight! ~ bring pets inside ~ make sure livestock have adequate blankets / bedding ~ keep that heat on to keep pipes warm... ~ unhook hoses / drain exterior spigots ~ if you’re on a well, make sure your well house has a light bulb or other heat source to keep your pump and pipes from freezing And remember to bang your hood in the mornings to scare off any nighttime residents that huddled by the heat of your engine - cats and kittens are notorious!
