This was an amazing concert which was held at Church of the Messiah featuring legendary guitar virtuoso Phil Keaggy with special guests Caspar McCloud and Our G...reat Lifeboat (formerly known as Derek McCloud Band.) We were so blessed to have this wonderful talent here in such an intimate setting and we really enjoyed this special time of praise, worship and laughter. I was honored to be at the Cherokee County Guns and Hoses 5K and Fun Run event on February 15 with the Outreach Team from Church of the Messiah. The race participants ran for either the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department ("Guns") or the Cherokee County Fire Department ("Hoses".) This was a charity race sponsored by the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency which benefited local causes and created "friendly" competition and bragging rights between these community helpers. Chu...rch of the Messiah members volunteered to serve bananas, brownies and water to the race participants and I was also able to take photos at the 5K finish line and awards ceremony along with general photos of those attending. I am so happy to share the 300+ photos I took and hope you enjoy them. If you see yourself or anyone you know in the photos, please feel free to tag and/or share. I had such a fun time with this sweet family! My dear friend Dawn Stroud asked me to photograph her son and his girlfriend and their 3 children. We decided to do them at Church of the Messiah so we could take advantage of the beautiful property as well as the Christmas trees inside. These three kids were so stinkin' cute I could hardly stand it!! They posed and even suggested things they thought we should do! Thank you Dawn for asking me to capture this part of your sweet family. I'll post a sneak peek - lots more to come!

Fun shoot with Dawn Stroud, her son Daniel and grandson Jacob, along with Daniel's girlfriend Misty and her kids Logan and Paizlei. This sweet boy turned 1 year old today! These photos were taken on August 1 when he turned 11 months old. I had the sweet blessing of watching this sweet boy and his big brother for 9 months. I will also be photographing his one year party on September 15. Love him and miss him! Happy Birthday - You're No. 1!! <3

February 2, 2013 This was such a sweet and special occasion celebrating the love and marriage of two very special people! I was blessed to attend and photograph this precious time. I love you all very much and thank you for showing us what a Godly marriage and family look like.
