How does dry needling work? Dry Needling is a procedure in which thin, solid needle filaments are inserted into the painful areas of muscles or tissues of the body. The needles penetrate through the skin into the sensitive myofascial trigger points (irritable hard knots within the muscle) and stimulate the underlying injured muscles to relieve pain. These fine needles deactivate the sensitive trigger points thereby decreasing pain and restoring the normal muscle functions. These needles do not inject any medication into the body. Dry needling is generally indicated to relieve acute and chronic pain by promoting muscle healing after an injury. The procedure can be used to treat various Orthopedic conditions, injuries and sports-related muscular pain.

According to Craig Stanford, Californian anthropologist, Of more than 250 species of primates, only one goes around on two legs, and that’s us, humans. We can walk on two legs so easily because our knees can fully extend and ‘lock’. Chimps cannot do this on two legs, so when they try to walk upright they have to use a huge amount of muscle power to support their body weight and end up rocking back and forth in the process, before resorting to four legs again. Who was the English physician and scientist who pioneered the concept of vaccines including creating the smallpox vaccine, the world's first vaccine? Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity.

Joint Replacement (Partial/Total/Revision) Hip joint and knee joint replacements are helping people of all ages live pain- free, active lives. Joints are formed by the ends of two or more bones connected by tissue called cartilage. Healthy cartilage serves as a protective cushion, allowing smooth and low-friction movement of the joint. If the cartilage becomes damaged by disease or injury, the tissues around the joint become inflamed, causing pain. With time, the cartilage we...ars away, allowing the rough edges of bone to rub against each other, causing more pain. When only some of the joint is damaged, a surgeon may be able to repair or replace just the damaged parts. When the entire joint is damaged, a total joint replacement is done. To replace a total hip or knee joint, a surgeon removes the diseased or damaged parts and inserts artificial parts, called prostheses or implants.
Dr. Raj Pandya has won "Best Joint Surgery/Replacement Doctor" and Atlanta Orthopedic Institute has won "Best Facility Center" title in "Best of 2017" Contest by Best Self Atlanta Magazine https://bit.ly/34nd2yC Atlanta Orthopaedic Institute #AOI... #OrthoSurgeon See more
