With their silver and gold they made id...ols for their own destruction. Hosea 8:1-4 ESV We cry out to the Lord for justice and mercy. We cry out to the Lord for God’s chosen leaders to rule over us. The problem is that we looked away from our true King for too long. We are reaping the whirlwind. Let us repent for putting our own agenda on the throne of our hearts! Let us then cry out to the Lord for mercy regarding those who will rule over us in the United States of America! Oh Lord, is it too late? For the sake of your people, have mercy!

Today we Honor the Veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Let us all Honor, Thank, Uphold, and Support those who so sacrificially gave of their lives in service and some in death to defend us. Join us in putting feet to our faith in the following: - Honor them in Our Public Square and In Our Homes: Tell others, especially your children of the sacrifice of those who have served in our military. There are so many at work to re-indoctrinate this society with lies. Let ...us be those who remember and pass on the truth to others. - Thank individual veterans for their service. Do this in person, if you can, or directly in digital form. These things mean so much more when it is PERSONAL. - Uphold those who have and will serve in the military by our prayer. For many of our veterans, the battle doesn’t end when they come home. The intense stress of impending danger, the gravity of defending freedom, and the extreme heaviness of taking another life are not without impact on the human body and soul. They fought for us in physical battle, let us take up the spiritual battle with them. - Support our Veterans directly and monetarily. The book of James instructs to put feet to our faith. Don’t just say be warm and be fed, actually clothe and feed the needy. It is a shame that many of our veterans end up in such great need. We as a the church need to not just wait for the government to do something, but lead by example and actively provide for our veterans. Word for 11-10-2020 for you from Ararat Church: Dare to hope! Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. Lamentations 3:21-26... NLT When things aren’t going your way, and you can’t seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel, remember that God is the One Who makes a way where there is no way. We tend to think that we have to see how what we need to happen, will happen, in order for to have hope. But in those instances, hope is not needed; it’s just a matter of waiting for what we know will happen. The need for hope, necessarily means that you have no tangible way of being assured of a good outcome. The kind of hope we need is not based on good vibes or positive thinking. It is based on the character and the word of God. You cannot hope in the Lord, unless you trust Him. But if you do trust Him, then you will know that He is working all things together for your good, and that help is on the way! Trust Him today and dare to hope!

For you are like whitewashed tombsbeautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people’s bones and all sorts of impurity. Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness. Matthew 23:27-28 NLT... The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve. Jeremiah 17:9-10 NLT These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself. But now I rebuke you and lay the charge before you. "Mark this, then, you who forget God, lest I tear you apart, and there be none to deliver! Psalm 50:21-22 ESV Let’s face it, it’s not easy to feel that evil people are getting by with their deceitful plans. But the fact is that God knows every heart, every motive, every plan, and He is the ultimate Judge of all of these things. When you find yourself in a circumstance where you feel frustrated as it seems that evil is winning over good, take a deep breath, and entrust all things to the Lord. Truth will win!

Sunday PLUMBLINE for you from Ararat Church: Many years before the Armenian genocide, a boy prophet, who was illiterate, wrote an amazing prophecy that he could not even read. Others read it and saw a warning that there would be a time that the Armenians would have to flee Kara Kala because anyone that stayed would be destroyed. Because of giving heed to that prophecy, my family is alive today. But an incident that happened between the time the prophecy was written and the fu...lfilling of the prophecy is what I bring to you today. This incident happened when that boy prophetnow in his 50scame to visit one of my relatives. Because so many people were coming, my relative went to his herd and looked for the largest steer, capable of feeding 100 people. To his dismay, he saw that the best prospect for feeding all these people was blind in one eye. Now thinking of the Scriptures, he knew that he was not to offer anything that was blemished to the Lord. He rationalized in his mind that it would be alright. He butchered the steer himself, took the head of the partially blind steer, and put it in a bag, hiding it in the corner of the barn. That night, when they were to begin the evening meal, the prophet stopped the traditional waiting on the Lord, walked out to the barn, and returned with the bag that had the steer’s head in it. He threw it on the floor where the bag fell open revealing the milk-white blind eye of the steer. That revelation of truththat he could not have knownconvinced my relative that the word of God was true and that the Holy Spirit was still in operation. That very night, he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and a whole family’s course was changed. What I want you to understand today is the fact that nothing is hidden from the Lord! Even now, the spirit of prophecy walks into the barn where the truth is hidden and will return with the evidence. Wait for it. Wait for it. Wait for it. See more

What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever. What sorrow for those who are heroes at drinking wine and boast about all the alcohol they can hold. They take bribes to le...t the wicked go free, and they punish the innocent. Therefore, just as fire licks up stubble and dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will rot and their flowers wither. For they have rejected the law of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies; they have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 5:20-24 NLT So he stood at the entrance to the camp and shouted, All of you who are on the Lord’s side, come here and join me. And all the Levites gathered around him. Exodus 32:26 NLT It’s human nature to make emotional decisions. It’s human nature to align oneself with those with whom your friends align. It’s human nature to choose a side based on very superficial examination. What should matter to the child of God is what the Lord wants. Where is His side? What has He said? What is His mandate? Rememberin terms of the destination of your eternal soulthere is only one side that is going to matter. Where do YOU stand? Who is on the Lord’s side?

Psalm 62:9-12 ESV I believe that a sense of helplessness is one of the scariest feelings for most people. That feeling is particularly disheartening when we feel that we are up against a situation that is not bearable, and yet we see no means of escape. Remember this: you are a child of the One to Whom ALL power belongs! Although you may be helpless to change the situation in the natural, your Father can not only change the situation, but He can also give you the courage and strength to endure situations that do not change. Additionally, He can make those situations work for your good! Power belongs to God; you belong to God; now, do that math!
