Happy Easter everyone! ACTS is having a problem purchasing food from our normal partners at this time. I have included a list of our most needed items. If everyone could spread the word, maybe people could purchase some of these items and bring them to ACTS on Tuesday or Friday from 9 until 1. People can call me at 706-540-3695 when they arrive and we will come to their car and unload them for you.. We are trying our best to stay open for our clients while keeping our volunte...ers as safe as possible. Please pray for us to succeed in this mission! As always we really appreciate your support! The Annual Business meeting for ACTS which is usually held in late March is being postponed to a later day. We will post the date and time for the meeting as soon as the virus restrictions are lifted. Also we are maintaining our normal schedule for now and hope to in the future. We have made a few changes to our operation to protect our clients and volunteers. The clothes closets are closed and we are checking in clients at the door and rolling the grocery carts into the park...ing lot for our clients. We will have the Trader Joe's items which are donated to ACTS twice a week outside for our clients to shop. Since our clothes closets are closed for now we are not accepting clothes and household items until further notice. We still have a need for monetary donations and in date food donations. ACTS will be operating on our regular schedule being open on Tuesday and Friday from 9 until 1 until further notice. We will not be accepting new clients for now so we can continue to serve our current clients. Also needed are sheets in all sizes, blankets, comforters, towels, wash cloths, any item to cook in, small appliances, and home decor. Open for service to clients and for donations on Tues and Fri 9-1. ... 130 East Thompson St, Bogart...near ballfields and library. ACTS appreciates your willingness to serve too.
