Thanks so much to Rachel and Jake for getting this great race report over to Sleepmonsters! Jake was our youngest Cauldron finisher and this was his first overnight race. AR is truly a family activity - not every race is a 30 hour endeavor, and you can try out some shorter events first, like the CARE In March. https://www.sleepmonsters.com/races.php?article_id=10878
As the day winds down and we get ready for the awards ceremony, we want to give a heartfelt thanks to the Brewer family, who own the beautiful Suwannee 505 Ranch in Jasper. They not only allowed us to run the event on their property, but welcomed our racers camping overnight and gave us access to the ranch house for race HQ. Their generosity and support of our sport made this event possible, and we know you appreciate it as much as we do!!!
AR 101 is back! This Tuesday, January 26th at 7 pm EST we'll be doing one more episode on prepping for the Sea to Sea. We'll be joined by racers Junos Reed and Christy Pollack, who have completed Sea to Sea multiple times, as well as Chris and Sonia Semans, who have both completed Sea to Sea and volunteered at the event. Don't forget we now have team slots available for the race if you are still interested! Register thru the website or contact us directly at [email protected] https://www.argeorgia.com/seatosea
The 10 hour racers get to join in the fun.
Looking for Pacers!
It's still sunny at AR Georgia HQ, but by January it won't be nearly as fun to be outside. Fortunately, we have the perfect escape! The Cauldron takes place in North Florida January 16-17th, with a 10-hour and 30-hour race for you to tackle while you escape the cold for a weekend! If you are headed to the Sea to Sea Expedition race this is a great opportunity for you to sharpen your skills and test-drive your equipment. We already have over 20 teams signed up, so grab your sp...ot and get ready to jump into the Cauldron! https://www.argeorgia.com/thecauldron
Wow, what a great video! Matt Davis of Obstacle Racing Media made this short film about the excitement of racing again at the Blue Ridge Ultra and we are stoked to share it. Show all your friends what you did last weekend! Maybe they'll come along for the ride next time ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyEokP4wnWg&feature=youtu.be
Are you ready to immerse yourself... in THE CAULDRON??? Registration is open for our January adventure race! Featuring a paddle on the historic Suwannee River, this is the perfect chance for new racers to get their first taste of AR and experienced teams to race against EcoChallenge competitors and other nationally-ranked teams. ... Team spots and solos available for both distances! January 16th and 17th, 2021... get into The Cauldron! https://www.argeorgia.com/thecauldron
