Word of the day: "steering" When you call your insurance company to make a windshield claim, and they tell you that you have to use a certain company, that is steering. I won't name the company but you've heard the jingle on TV. The insurance companies that steer you towards them are obviously in their pockets. Pockets that the big jingle company want you to fatten. YOU DO NOT have to use the company that the insurance agent is trying to steer you to! It is your option to choose any auto glass company that you prefer whether they are on the "list" or not.
