Over time some problems may include; moisture penetrating your equipment enclosures, insect or rodent infestation and improper lubrication. Proper lubrication of stress points including hinges, chains, rollers, internal gearing or pivot points are dependant upon your equipment type. Electrical wiring, while rare, can also become corroded and connection points may lose proper conductivity over time resulting in poor electrical performance. Most important are the access control safety features that were included in your gate’s circuitry and other control devices added to your system for convenience and additional physical safeguards. These safety devices need to be regularly checked and tested to ensure that your system not only operates properly but also does so safely to reduce the chances of bodily or vehicular accidents.
