Our fencers had a fun safe halloween costume party last weekend!

We had a great inner-club team style tournament this past weekend! Having to do team style made it very interesting and was great to try out different formats! It was great to see each of the teams cheer and support each other! We always practice using face masks at all times and the usual protocols to keep things safe.

Got ourselves some awesome new business cards! We have had a great time making updates to our club! More stuff to come!

Another round of Archery Tag with our Epee class! Also, we had a nice surprise visit from coach Keegan!

So we had a fun fencing practice, but with bows and arrows because why not?

We have a new club toy and it's fun! Perhaps a team bow and arrow battle soon?

We have an awesome new chalkboard for our Mall space in Athens! The drawing is done by one of our new adult fencers Megan Frazier who did an amazing job on it!

Big thank you to John Terris of GFA and coach Lyndsay for running a great Epee clinic this weekend for the second time! Also, congrats and happy birthday to Dylan Rachel for winning gold at our club tournament! Also congrats to Hudson Ormes for earning 2nd Elise Trubey for winning her first medal and getting 3rd! As like before, we practiced covid-19 protocols which included wearing masks, social distancing, temperature checks, and limiting the amount of people in the space.

Our club had an inner club saber tournament this Saturday! We practiced doing temperature checks, social distancing, and wore face masks (at all times). While it may be a while for open tournaments, we are wanting to keep strong at the game while being safe!

We can now check temperatures with our temperature check gun!

5 year old Felix is the great grandson of an Olympic fencer! He showed no fear today and ran me down the fencing strip at least 10 times! We may have ourselves a future Olympic fencer here like his great grandfather!
