Creature Comforts Brewing Company created the Get Comfortable Campaign in order to become a unifying anchor in the business community to help drive awareness, increase engagement, and provide support for local nonprofits who address our community’s most pressing needs.This year the Get Comfortable Campaign supports 6 local nonprofits- Advantage, the Ark, Athens Area Homeless Shelter, Athens Community Council on Aging, Mercy Health Clinic, and Chosen for Life. Who doesn't love biscuits for breakfast? Golden Pantry has amazing breakfast biscuits. And you know what is even more amazing? Throughout February and March, 5% of Wednesday biscuit sales from all Athens area Golden Pantry stores will go into the Get Comfortable program. Additionally, the Prince Avenue, College Station, and Broad Street stores will have Get Comfortable t-shirts for sale. The profits from these shirt sales will go to the fund as well. A huge THANK YOU to Project TAKEcare, a program created by Athens-Clarke County Unified Government. Employees of ACCUG held supply drives, and today boxes and boxes of items were delivered to Athens Resource Center for Hope (ARCH) to be distributed to homeless individuals and families. Advantage, Athens Area Homeless Shelter, Athens Nurses' Clinic, and Live Forward will make sure these items get into the hands of those who need them most. Thank you again for your generosity and all that you do to serve Athens!
