Many Y Campers came today to honor the memory of Coach Poss and Anne . They were greatly loved and they will be greatly missed. Their legacy at AYC will never be forgotten.

A dual graveside service will be held in Thomson, Georgia at 1pm on Saturday, Jan. 30 to honor the lives of Coach Poss and Anne. We are urging AYC Alumni to attend as we will join together to sing two Y Camp hymns during the service as requested by the family Westview Cemetery... 505 Westview Drive Thomson, GA 30824 Social distancing will be observed and please wear a face mask For those of you who can't attend the graveside service below is the link to watch the service live. http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp

Dear friends: This year has been a challenge for us all and we greatly missed creating more summer memories with you: our alumni, campers and parents. You and yours have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. The many disruptions of 2020 cause us to hold tightly to this truth, Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are-high in the sky, or in the deepest ocean-nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demons...trated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us. Romans 8:38-39 Jesus is the reason for this season and He is also the reason for our joy. We are blessed with your support and friendship of the Athens Y Camps. Two buildings were hit hard after last night’s storm! Thankful for the good Lord’s protection that no one was hurt. The gym was heavily damaged and the Adventure Building was totally destroyed.
