Atlanta Inner-city Ministry

A ministry highlight each year at AIM is the annual "Hope 4 the Family" event. H4tF has a one day life skills lab for parents at our facility. Those parents who attend receive Christmas toys for their children at the conclusion of the life skills lab. This year we are unable to have H4tF because of Covid 19. In place of H4tF we are providing a "Box of Love" for 78 young people (ranging from 18 months to 17 years old) who the ministry has been maintaining relationship with dur...ing Covid 19. We are blessed that Grace Chapel Church of Christ in Cumming will help us with the actual Box of Love. However, our goal is to provide a $50.00 gift card each young person. A needed community outreach event today at AIM

The AIM building was built in 1975 and the parking lot had deteriorated into rubble in many areas. The ministry was blessed with the opportunity to re-pave the lot. Please consider a donation toward this project, as a part of this years AIM Appeal.

Today would be the start of AIM Camp, if not for the COVID virus. We are staying in contact with the kids through the delivery of meals, but do encourage prayers for the kids. I do admit to the wisdom of the camps closing down for the summer but it is a big loss for the kids we serve.

It has been difficult not having AIM's KidsCamp this summer. The 1st week of July would have been the last week. It will be more difficult not having AIM Camp in July. We trust in God that all are well and He will lead us to the new normal as fall develops.

Last night began rough but through the night Atlanta's Leader's Stepped Up ... Let's look to God's Peace and Love. May Atlanta become a Light for a Divided Nation ... to a New Generation!
