I consider it an integral part of my job as a lawyer to read the documents that no one else wants to.

The current situation is immense, to state the obvious. But, difficult situations provide opportunity for us as lawyers and citizens. With the current state of affairs, we seem to be lacking clarity and leadership. As a lawyer practicing in Atlanta, I empathize with all that we are experiencing on a daily basis. While we know that things are not "normal" and quite frankly may never be "normal" again (at least not the normal that we have known in the past), our firm has been p...roactive in combating the practical effects that this global pandemic has placed on our work environment. We have instituted stay at home work and bolstered our mobile technology to make this a reality. In other words, our employees are replicating at home, what they would be doing if they could go into the office. These temporary steps have proven beneficial and a lot of what we have learned from this pandemic will be kept in place once employees return to the office. While we have initiated these moves to fully comply with stay at home orders and to keep our staff and clients safe, there are some things that have improved our efficiency and which we will use going forward. Thankfully, with the help of the government and persistence, we are maintaining our presence in the community and remaining open to serve our new and existing clients. I write this with the full knowledge that what we are doing as a law firm is not extraordinary. But, rather, it is what you would expect us to do because we are hard-working, creative and filled with a sense of destiny. We adapt as necessary and we continue on to provide the type of legal services that we are proud of. I have personally been practicing law for almost 30 years and I have never seen a situation like this. New client calls are down, interactions on existing cases are slow and sporadic and case resolutions are off. This is concerning, for sure, but I have the sincere belief that we all will weather this storm and come out of this stronger than before. Stonger as a nation; stronger as a firm; and stronger individually. Our firm is here for the long haul. We stand ready to help carry us through this COVID-19 crisis, as we have done in the past with other crises which, at their respective times, seemed insurmountable--but in the end, were not. We will continue to be here to help the people of the city of Atlanta and Decatur. We will get through this together and we stand ready to help in any way we can. While the current situation is temporary. Our commitment to our clients and the people of Atlanta is not. We have carefully assembled a fine group of lawyers and we back them up with all of the resources necessary to get the very best results. If you have been injured by negligence such as medical or dental malpractice or are involved in a commission dispute, please contact us to discuss your situation and to see if we can help. Stay safe and be well. Rob Fleming

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out Because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out... Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak for me. See more

We care about the health and safety of our clients and our staff. We are acutely aware of the health needs of the people that we serve, as well as of those who work in our offices. In light of the public health concerns surrounding Coronavirus, we have implemented plans for meeting with clients by phone or video conference rather than in person. We have also been conducting more depositions remotely by video rather than traveling to the deposition site. In addition, many cli...ent meetings are now being conducted remotely. These are small steps that we are taking in order to do try and reduce the spread of the Corona Virus. If you would like to change an in-person appointment with our firm to a teleconference or video conference, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you. These are extraordinary times and we will do all we can to protect our clients and staff.

Please contact your Senators and Representatives now and ask them to vote NO on SB 415. Georgia repeatedly has been rated as the best state in which to do business, so the premise for this give away to insurance companies is completely false. This legislation is an ill-conceived, stealthy, multi-billion dollar gift to insurance companies at the expense of innocent Georgians who do not know their families will need the legal system in the future. PLEASE COPY, PASTE AND SHARE THE POST, NOT JUST THE LINK, to list of State Senators: http://www.senate.ga.gov/senat/en-US/SenateMembersList.aspx

I want to thank P.B. for the following review of me and my firm she recently posted. Due to the sensitive nature of many of the cases that I handle, I usually do not identify clients by name and prefer to simply use initials. I am pleased with the outcome of her case. It gives me great pleasure to have been able to make a difference in her life and to be able to help get her and her family through a very challenging time. A new review has been posted to your profile 5 stars R...ob Fleming did an outstanding job representing me in a medical malpractice case. His legal mind is outstanding and his level of expertise in medical malpractice is second to none. From the moment that I went in for the first consultation to the very successful resolution of my case, Rob was amazing. He is an outstanding listener and he brilliantly navigated the legal process from start to finish for me. Rob is one of the best attorneys, if not THE BEST, in his field. The level of communication throughout the entire legal process was excellent. Each step of the process was appropriately discussed and all options were carefully detailed. His attentiveness to my phone calls and emails was excellent and always very prompt. I hope you never need representation with a malpractice issue, but if you do, your first call should be to Rob Fleming. I absolutely could not be any happier with his representation and you should consider yourself in the BEST MALPRACTICE LEGAL HANDS available in the Southeast. I wish I could give him 50 stars! The Trump administration has taken a step closer to relaxing federal regulations governing the amount of time truck drivers can spend behind the wheel, a move that was long sought by the trucking industry but opposed by safety advocates who warn it could lead to more highway crashes. What happened The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, an agency of the Transportation Department, issued proposed changes on Wednesday to the hours of service rules that dictate break...s truckers are required to take, and their time on and off duty. These laws are in place to protect the safety of all of us. Relaxing the safety laws is a gross mistake and will, in all likelihood lead to more tragic accidents and deaths on our highways. In addition the trucking industry is calling for allowing 18 year-old drivers to operate 18-wheeler trucks coast to coast. Does anyone see the absurdity in that?

This is shocking. Yet, another example of a culture that we must change. We still have a lot of work to do.

Many of my dental malpractice clients are prescribed Gabapentin to control nerve pain. Please be cautious and understand the risks of this drug. As with any drug, it is safe to use as prescribed but should never be taken beyond what is prescribed.
