There have been a few questions raised in the aesthetics world lately regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and dermal fillers. A recent New Beauty article describes two people with prior dermal fillers who developed facial swelling after getting the Moderna vaccine. But Dr. Elizabeth says the chances of this happening are low. With FDA-approved fillers, the incidence of adverse reactions is extremely low.
