Atlanta Kendo Kai

We are open for practice for existing members! Practice now includes precautions such as masks, temperature checks and social distance during practice. Although it's different than what we're all used to, it feels great to be back in the dojo! We haven't yet determined when we will accept new students, but will post that information here when the time comes.

We're getting closer to opening for practice! Today we had a few members help out with implementing new safety precautions like masks, temperature checks and social distance keiko methods. We hope to be open for practice soon!

We're hoping to get back to the dojo before too much longer. But until then, let's keep practicing any way we can at home!

Unfortunately, we will stay closed a while longer. But let's all do our best to get as much practice in at home as we can!

To all members, we have a made the difficult decision to cancel practice through the remainder of March. We will reevaluate the situation in April and notify everyone if practices will resume at that time. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to be practicing together again very soon!

We have just received word that the city of Brookhaven has closed the Briarwood Rec Center through at least April 3rd due to coronavirus concerns. Unfortunately we will have to cancel all Thursday classes until at least that date, or further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but please take care of yourselves and your families.

Important Announcement!!! Our Saturday practice will STAY at 9:00 am in December. We had previously announced a time change this month, but that will no longer apply. Throughout December we will continue our normal schedule of Saturdays at 9:00 am.

Class is cancelled on Thursday evening, November 28th. Have a happy Thanksgiving!!!

This Saturday, November 2nd, our normal practice time will be changed to 4:00 pm (ending at 6:30 pm). Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your flexibility. See you Saturday!

On October 5th and 6th, Atlanta Kendo Kai hosted the 30th annual SEUSKF Championship Taikai and Shinsa. We hope that all visiting kenshi had a great time.
