Dear Members, We are excited to announce that, per our Governor’s executive order allowing health clubs to re-open, Atlanta Recreation Club will be welcoming back our members beginning Friday, May 1st. During these difficult past several weeks, we have been moved by the overwhelming support you’ve shown us and one another. Thank you for all your support! During the down time we did some upkeep to our facility so you can enjoy the games better than before. In addition to that ...we’d be doing another round of deep cleaning before it’s open for you on May 1st. Please take note of management announcements, a few guidelines and things to follow while you are at the club. Management Announcements: Even though the club is open from May 1st, ARC will not charge any membership for the month of May. Next billing cycle will start from June 1st for all members. Annual members will be credited for the time lost. Coaching program is being reviewed, please stay tuned for updates. Club Usage Guidelines While we work together to keep our clubs clean, we are rolling out temporary but necessary changes in club operations these guidelines are subject to change as we feel necessary to create as safe an environment as possible. Our initial hours of operation beginning May 1st: (All membership types will be adjusted to fit into the following window) Club Hours: Monday Friday: 6 AM 10 AM & 4 PM 10 PM Saturday/Sunday: 6 AM 10 PM Pro-Shop/Front Desk (Limited Service): Monday Friday: 4 PM 9 PM Saturday/Sunday: 9 AM 9 PM Club Capacity will be limited to a max of 50 members. We are evaluating options to announce club occupancy through various communication channels (FB/WhatsApp/Twitter/ARC Website). Please check availability before you start. No groups / waiting next to courts. Once court capacity is reached, we request members to wait outside the club. Parents, please don’t bring your non-playing kids/family to hangout at the club while you are playing. Members guidelines: If you feel sick, have a fever or difficulty breathing or in the last 2 weeks been in close contact with a person suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19, please stay home. Be courteous to fellow members and allow for proper spacing when walking around or playing.( Singles play is encouraged!) Wash and sanitize your hands often. Wear face masks (recommended). Dear ARC Members, Following the guidelines from concerning authorities, Atlanta Recreation Club will remain closed until Thursday April 30th, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you all in case there’s any change in the start date of our operations. ... All memberships will be extended to cover the time the club is closed, no monthly charges during this time & annual members would be extended for the time lost. Dear ARC Members, Please note In order to do our part in the efforts to flatten the curve and impact of the COVID-19 virus, We have made the very difficult decision to close the operations of Atlanta Recreation Club beginning Monday, March 23, until at least April 3, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and based on the CDC & County/State guidelines, we will update you all in case there’s any change in the start date of our operations. All memberships will be ext...ended to cover the time the club is closed, no monthly charges during this time & annual members would be extended for the time lost. Dear ARC Members, Please note, In light of the uncertainty during the rapidly changing COVID-19 Pandemic situation and in an abundance of caution, ARC has decided to err on the side of kids/players and staff safety and implementing the following changes effective immediately. Kids Coaching :- Suspension of ALL Kids Coaching until further notice. ... Coaching Payments :- Schedule would be revised and payments would be realigned and accommodated once ARC gets reopened and training reinstated. There would not be any class loss or Dollar loss for the kids nor parents. Front Desk :- Front Desk would be closed and reception would NOT be available. 24/7 Availability :- Regular members can still avail the facility 24/7, your fob should work. However we strongly recommend the following. Staggered hours - try to use the facility off peak ours, please plan accordingly. Plan to come in smaller groups. We do not encourage leagues or tournaments until this situation is resolved. Bring your own hand sanitizes. Wash / sanitize your hands as often as you can. Follow all CDC guidelines to ensure the well being of yours and everyone around you. If you don’t feel well/comfortable please don’t come to the club. No Waiting or standing beside the courts. At any given time not more than 4 people in court. Facility Cleanliness :- ARC’s regular maintenance, cleaning of Courts and Bathrooms would still continue at current schedule. We are also taking additional precautions in sanitizing the facility at regular intervals. Please co-operate and lets all work together in fighting & Preventing spread of COVID-19.
