1995 Airstream Excella Classic update. I completed my holiday upgrades. 50 Amp service complete. All interior skin is complete. ... All window screens installed. Bedroom Bed and cabinetry complete. Hallway closet and cabinetry complete. Living room credenza reinstalled. Lower belt trim reinstalled. It’s a real trailer again! Thank you’s to my team: Winston, James, and Jon. Took it back to Top of Georgia Airstream Park and raised the flag.

Finally got the last of the glue off the ceiling in the hallway leaving it all bare aluminum inside. Love the new look. Cabinetry goes in next!

1995 Airstream Excella Classic restoration nears completion. Installing new aluminum interior skins in front and rear caps and entire bedroom.

Atlanta RV completes another Airstream Restoration. This 1960 Airstream Pacer 16 Ft is a beautiful example. We polished the shell and aluminum tanks, replaced several lower body panels. We did a blower leak test and sealed all necessary seams and around all windows and doors. Upgraded spring axle to modern Torsion axle and shocks. New tires. Installed Coleman Mach 8 A/C. Upgraded to modern 30amp service. Replaced water system with PEX and new pump. Installed new custom mattress. Refurbished all windows and door with new glass, new seals, and new screens. New Taillights.

Installed Furrion Rear View camera on Airstream Bambi this weekend. And a TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Camper wired into Rear teardrop marker lights. Both Systems are working great.

Installed a Micro Air Easy Start 364 on an Airstream. Bambi with Dometic Penguin 1 air conditioner. Verified low inrush current.

Sealing up leaky front windows on a 2008 Airstream as part of a more general reseal. Removed Rock Guards for better access. Fully taped for a clean job.

1995 Airstream 34 Ft Excella Tanks are polished and back on. Stone Guards have new Acrylic. The front is looking good.

Airstream Aluminum tanks are getting polished this week. One is complete. The other one on the grass will be polished next.

Airstream Stone Guard refurbishment. Replacing Acrylic (commonly called plexiglas) Frames are in good shape so I’m replacing the lenses and Spline. I made a plywood template to duplicate the shape and cut it out with a router. One on Curb Side (left in the photo) is complete. ... I have the piece cut for the Road Side need to install it next. 1995 Airstream Excella headliner removal continues. Loosened cabinets from the ceiling to get the old foam backed vinyl removed. Foam is removed with heat gun and glue is removed with Klean-Strip Premium Sprayable Stripper. I’m leaving the bare aluminum.

1995 Airstream Excella work continues. Still removing vinyl headliner. Bedroom and living room are complete. All vinyl and foam are removed from the hallway and kitchen, next comes the glue removal. Final product will be bare aluminum walls and ceilings similar to the new ones. It is a very common problem with 80’s and newer Airstreams for the headliner to fall down in some places resulting in a shabby look. Even if you want to replace it you still have to fully remove the... old material and all the glue down to clean aluminum for new glue and material to stick.
