FINAL RADIO/TV CLASS OF THE YEAR BEGINS MONDAY JUNE 18, 2018 and graduates AUGUST 18, 2018. This from Carley who took the 2017 class.... Jeff.....You'll be happy to know I signed a contract with the NBA! I've been working with the Toronto Raptors for 93.5 the move (one of Toronto's biggest radio stations), and am in the midst of interviewing with Sportscenter for work in sports updates.... The demo link from your class received lots of positive feedback!

Jeff, I'm proud to announce that I have secured a job in broadcasting. I'll will be a Production Assistant for ESPN in their Content Associates Program. I will be working side-by-side with Producers, Directors and fulfilling other require roles for ESPN programming. I start next Monday the 28th, and I'm so excited to start this new chapter in my life. A new chapter that begins in Bristol, CT of all places, but one that I am damn determined to succeed in. CGB has played a significant role in helping achieve this monumental achievement, so let me say THANK YOU!

I hope this finds you well. Been a while since my last check in with you but I come with good news. We had the Alabama Broadcasters Association Awards last weekend and I came away with an award I have been chasing for a few years. I was awarded the Best Sports Talk Show in the State of Alabama for my Friday Night Football show I have hosted the last few falls here at iHeartRadio Birmingham. The Jack's 5th Quarter Show was syndicated over 14 stations in the state and it helpe...d lead to me getting my own morning news talk show last September in one of our smaller markets. I am still producing for multiple stations in the Birmingham market and the Sports Director for the cluster as well so it has been an interesting experience adding on the duties of hosting as well. I have not gotten used to my name being on a show (Gadsden's Morning News with Wade Smith). It has been a wild ride so far the last few years in Birmingham and I couldn't have done it without my time with you in Atlanta and at CGB. Let me know if there is anything I can ever do to help out.

The May 22-July 20 class is now enrolling! A story from Jalisse West, who took the sports class last year.. A few weeks ago I got a job at WXXV, the Fox station in Gulfport! I'm working in production and I can't believe this is happening for me! Hope you're doing well! Talk to you soon !
