Excuse the long post :-).....I had the pleasure of being on the host committee of #Apexturnstwenty this weekend, a celebration of our 20th Anniversary of Delta ...Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Eta Kappa Chapter. I also was a part of the planning committee for The 3D Experience. A collaboration tailgate celebration with the ladies of OBEG 23 and Wall Street 39 who celebrated their 30th and 20th anniversaries. My heart was full to see the vision come to life from ideas on the Google drive to experiencing the actual moment. To see 3 lines, multiple age groups and over one hundred sorors enjoy themselves was absolutely amazing. I feel blessed to be a part and still taking it all in. I would be remiss if we didn't thank those who were a part of making it all happen, our vendors. We had many vendors who came together to make our event run seamlessly. A huge thank you for an impeccable job of event management goes out to Jamie Bennett with Assistance For Hire, LLC You allowed the planning committee to live in the moment! Your team is amazing even down to the emergency kit with a stain removal stick! Also, huge thanks to DJ Salah Ananse for turning the party out! You took us "Through the Fire", we "Got in the Water" with some go-go, we went to Brooklyn with Biggie Smalls and did a soul clap to "Follow Me!" Brandi Russelland Sacred Heart Collectionsfor designing our cape blazers. IAD 60, Alicia Ferriabough Taylor and Sukari New York for our lovely commemorative 3 in 1 bags! I.Con. 31 and April Dae of A Perfect Dae for our thoughtful coasters,the APex champagne toast and glass! Chef DeJoie for our delightful menu that had me hovering over the macaroni and cheese and salmon! OMG Booth for capturing our memories for a lifetime. Atlanta Lifestyle Furnishingf for our converting our tent into a comfortable environment for a day party. Divine Celebrations for a balloon tower that perfectly framed our arrival banner sign. Nautia Nims and her bartenders for keeping our signature drinks flowing. I, Joyful Delights Sweets made the cake pops! I also cannot forget our APEX donation to Heals Heal coordinated by our line sister Michelle. The 3D Experience and #APEXturnstwenty were proud to support small businesses and charity. See more
